Rachel Podwats

General Manager

Rachel joined our team in December 2020 and has worked her way up within the company to become our dedicated General Manager. With a strong passion for animal care and customer service, she works to ensure the well-being of every dog at our facility as well as the satisfaction of our clients. Prior to joining the team, Rachel was a waitress for eight years while attending school on Long Island in New York where she grew up. Now, living in Conway, South Carolina, Rachel enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs, Sadie and Dude, her husband, and their daughter, Paisley. Her journey with us reflects her commitment to both our clients and their pets. 

Nikki Lucas

Tina Layman

Assistant Manager

Tina has spent over 10 years working with dogs, honing her skills and expertise in canine behavior, training, and care. After attending Starmark Academy for Dog Training, she gained in-depth knowledge about behavior modification, and a variety of training methodologies. This formal education, combined with hands-on experience, has allowed Tina to become a well-rounded professional in the canine care industry. In addition to her training background, Tina served as the Daycare Manager before moving into the role of Assistant General Manager. She has plenty of experience managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing the care and well-being of dozens of dogs, ensuring safety, comfort, and a high-quality experience for both dogs and their owners. Tina and her husband Niko have five dogs named Charlie, Thor, Leia, Nymeria and Chunk. Even when she is not at work her life revolves around dogs and always will! 

Zoe Nininger

Dog Trainer

Zoe is a passionate dog trainer with five years of experience working with dogs and cats of all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. She uses a variety of training methods, with a primary focus on positive reinforcement. Her approach is rooted in the standards set by the American Kennel Club (AKC), ensuring that your dog’s training experience is both effective and compassionate. She believes that training is not just about teaching commands; it's about strengthening the bond between you and your furry companion. Her goal is to help families communicate more clearly with their dogs, creating a mutual understanding that leads to a more harmonious relationship. Whether you’re looking to address behavioral issues or simply improve your dog’s obedience, she’s here to guide you every step of the way.
