General Manager
Corey joined our team in June of 2024 as our General Manager. Corey's journey to K9 Cabana started back in October of 2019, when his chocolate lab Jackson was born. Before Jackson was born, Corey had worked the majority of his professional career in sports, helping build companies in the travel baseball industry and sports management industry over a fifteen-year period. Prior to working in those two industries, Corey worked in the Florida Marlins and New York Yankees player development systems. After Jackson was born in October of 2019 and Corey picked him up on Christmas Eve of 2019, Corey's life changed! The past five years, Corey has dedicated all of his time to dog behavior, training, and working in the dog industry! Corey brings a wealth of dog and management experience to the K9 Cabana team and is excited to show up everyday to work with the best dogs and staff around!
Assistant Manager
Rachel joined our team in December 2020 and has worked her way up within the company to become our dedicated Assistant Manager. With a strong passion for animal care and customer service, she works to ensure the well-being of every dog at our facility as well as the satisfaction of our clients. Prior to joining the team, Rachel was a waitress for eight years while attending school on Long Island in New York where she grew up. Now, living in Conway, South Carolina, Rachel enjoys spending her free time with her two dogs, Sadie and Dude, her husband, and their daughter, Paisley. Her journey with us reflects her commitment to both our clients and their pets.
Head Trainer
Tim began his dog training career as a teenager in the U.S. Marines as a Military Working Dog Handler. After completing the patrol and explosive detection course, he was selected to attend the Specialized Search Dog Trainer’s Course. After three deployments, he left the Marines for a position with the U.S. State Department leading the K9 Diplomatic Protection Services in Kabul, Afghanistan. Tim has excelled in the most challenging areas of dog training. He now dedicates his experience and skills to helping pet parents achieve happy relationships with their dogs. Tim has you covered everything from controlled aggression to puppy potty training, bird dog trials, or Schutzhund tracking.
